Feel good. Feel inspired.

It's amazing what a video can do, and how much it can lift your mood and inspire you.
Youtube is a brilliant tool for making the world a better place, if you ask me.

Home no. 2

I recently arrived back from my family's annual summer trip to Italy, and I already miss it! It was great 2,5 weeks with amazing weather, beach days, and visiting my mother's side of the family.

The trip was a little different from what we have gotten used to the past years, because we didn't experience any new places, big cities or famous coasts - it was purely beach trips, family visits, dinner at our regular restaurant, having late-night ice cream at regular spots; really just enjoying nostalgia by doing what we have done since I was a baby. There's nothing better than that.

As always, I have come back to Denmark with a strong will and need to learn to speak Italian - which having a mother who is from Italy people think is super easy... is actually not. So whether or not that will happen depends on me taking a class besides regular school - which I will hopefully be able to do, even though I am about to take my driver's licence, and finding a job now that I am about to turn 18. We'll see!

Nonetheless, I am back home, the weather is great, and I have (a few) new pictures of the beautiful Italy on my computer to admire. Here are some of them:

Hope everyone out there is enjoying their summer as much as I did those few weeks in Italy!

My Brother - The Master Photographer!

I went on a walk by sunset to listen to some music and take a few pics - in shorts and a light sweater! The weather has been AH-MAZING today, I can't even believe it!

When already a little bit away from home, my brother rang and asked if I would play some Xbox with him when I came home (he's 10 - and adorable). Now, I'm not much of a... gamer... and so I invited him to come with and meet me at my location. We got to take a few cute pictures of each other, and here is one that he took of me (one of many excellent pictures! He surprised me with his skills, haha):

Now, the quality may not be amazing, due to the limited lighting and the fact that you couldn't just focus on the sunset, but for some reason I really like this picture... Guess it must be the summery mood creeping in on me!

Here's also a quick one I shot before we "joined forces":

Talk to you soon.

I went to Paris.

...and I wanna go back!

My half of better half Mette (it's a Danish name, haha) went to Paris with something called "Ungdomsskolen" (directly translated to "Youthschool") within this past week. We were some of the oldest of 34 teenagers - including only 2 boys, lol - but it didn't take on how much fun we had!

Paris is the perfect mix of beautiful surroundings and amazing shopping, which summed with great breakfast, crépes and Starbuck's, pretty much ecquals HEAVEN to me.

Shitting bricks on the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower :i

We visited soooo many places, and concidering we only had 3 full days and a little time the day we arrived and the day we left, it's pretty amazing how much we got to see. Let me put it in a list for you; we experienced:

Sacré Coeur (which was a good 100 meters from our hotel)
Montmartre
The Wall
Moulin Rouge
The Eiffel Tower
Louvre
Les Halles (shopping yay!)
A night-sayling-tour on The Seine
Champs-Elysées
The Arch of Triumph
Notre Dame
Love Bridge
Pere-Lachaise

Yup. That's a lot of Metro-trips and footsteps (my legs are nice and worked-out now, haha!).

So... I'm ready to pack my bags and move to Paris by now!
